Quenton Nelson. 6. player. 46. . Offensive Guard. Notre Dame

The news out of Indianapolis was positive for Colts fans on Monday, as it appears Andrew Luck is on the mend. Luck had to sit out all of 2017 due to a balky shoulder that he had surgery on in January. He was expected to return for the second half of the year, but he still has yet to throw a regulation size football at this point, but is optimistic about his progress.

This offseason, the Colts decided to trade away the No. 3 pick to the New York Jets, and now find themselves at No. 6. They do not need the franchise quarterback most teams in front of them do, and they could trade this away to the likes of Arizona or Buffalo before all is said and done. If they stay at No. 6, they should take the best offensive lineman this draft class has to offer in Quenton Nelson.

The tape on Nelson is quite astonishing, and this team needs to finally put some assets in front of Luck on the offensive line. While not a left tackle, Nelson is the kind of player who can really be the anchor of an offensive line at the next level. He may be gone by the time the Colts pick at No. 6, but if he is still there, Luck will be very happy his organization selected him.
