1. Blake Griffin

If Blake Griffin had it his way, do you think he falls for the Los Angeles Clippers tricks? They literally put the man on a shirt with Einstein, Martin Luther King Jr., Ghandi, Muhammad Ali, Barack Obama, and other “pioneers.” When he walked into Staples Center for his free agent meeting, they raised his jersey as part of a retirement ceremony.

Six months later, he was traded.

The Clippers were supposed to be his team this season. Chris Paul was no longer around to bark at him. The front office did their best to recoup the loss of Paul, acquiring Lou Williams, Patrick Beverley and Montrezl Harrell in the trade. They signed Danilo Gallinari to give them their first serviceable small forward since….ever? Milos Teodosic was pegged as being the real deal. It was a fresh start for Griffin and the organization.

Six months later, he was traded.

Injuries mounted for Griffin and other members of the Clippers. But that was nothing new. And it wasn’t supposed to matter. He just signed a five-year deal. This was year one of an on-the-fly retooling. It would all work out in the end.

Not only was he traded, but he was traded to Detroit. Imagine going from living in Los Angeles and starring in KIA commercials to living in Detroit and having to deal with Kid Rock threatening to run for office.

If Griffin had a do-over, he would have never gone on that date with Kendall Jenner.
