Sample Lineup for Early Slate

P – James Paxton

C/1B – Freddie Freeman

2B – Joey Wendle

3B – Matt Duffy

SS – Dansby Swanson

OF – Bryce Harper, Preston Tucker, Mallex Smith

Utility – Mitch Haniger

It seems like it could be a difficult slate just because there are so many offenses in good spots that I want a piece of. For now, I’ll settle for attacking AJ Cole the most and pick my spots against James Shields and Danny Duffy. It also feels like a day where picking the right pitcher is going to be really difficult. If you go McCullers, Paxton could go off and vice versa. Fading Freeman or Harper seems like a really poor idea but it’s easy to pluck some cheaper Rays bats to make everything fit in nicely.

Stacks to Consider – Braves(vs. Nationals), Rays(at White Sox), and Mariners(at Kansas City)

There’s a fairly solid chance this changes today because the pitching is just so unsure. As it stands, I’m ready to stack up the Cubs and pick my spots with the Yankee bats. Add in a lefty specialist and a touch of the Bucco offense and we’re set for right now. We’ll be keeping an eye on the weather as well as it could wreak havoc and most temps remain freezing.

Stacks to Consider – Cubs(vs. Pittsburgh), Yankees(at Boston), and Mets(at Miami)
