The NHL playoffs have officially begun. You won’t want to miss a second of the excitement, so here is a complete schedule of the Winnipeg Jets vs. Minnesota Wild series.

Seeding goes out the window in the NHL once the playoffs begin. Any team can win on any given night. That being said, the Winnipeg Jets and their starved fan base is heavily favorited in this series, with many having them moving on after only four games.

These two teams still have to play the games, though, and anything can happen in the NHL playoffs. The second and third teams in the NHL’s Central Division will face off Wednesday evening in Winnipeg, where the scene will be as white as the snow still on the ground there is.

Here is the full broadcast schedule for the series:

The Winnipeg Jets (52-20-10, 114 points) are probably the second best team in the Western Conference. They’ve spent the season dealing with injuries to key players such as Jacob Trouba, Mark Scheifele and Dustin Byfuglien (among others). The Jets have returned all of those players and are entering the playoffs healthy, which should make them a threat to anyone in the West.

A knock on the Jets may be that they lack experience. The team is very young, but the young players are just so talented. Look for Patrik Laine to open the flood gates on scoring during this series. He and the young core are one of many reasons the Jets can win the Stanley Cup, outlined here.

The Minnesota Wild (45-26-11, 101 points) have recently been hit with a devastating injury of their own. Ryan Suter will not return this season, as he is on the mend from surgery on a broken ankle. While this is a massive blow to the Minnesota defense, they should not be counted out of the series. Eric Staal has proven this season that he can hang with the best of them, scoring 42 goals. If he gets hot in this series, he will be hard to stop.

The goaltenders will play a huge role in this series. Devan Dubnyk had a .918 save percentage with a 2.52 goals against average this season, while Vezina candidate Connor Hellebuyck posted a .924 SV% and 2.36 GAA. Either goalie is capable of getting staying hot during the playoffs, and if the Wild want to make this a series, they’ll need an outstanding showing from Dubnyk, who is one of five reasons the Wild have a shot at the Cup.
