Opposing the Penguins empire is their bitter rivals, the Philadelphia Flyers.
The Flyers jumped all the way from a 10-game losing streak in December to third place in the Metropolitan Division in April, beating the New York Rangers on the final day of the season to leapfrog the Columbus Blue Jackets and New Jersey Devils and claim third. Claude Giroux and his band of rebels will use everything at their disposal to liberate the league from Pittsburgh’s grasp, and move on to Round 2.
