6. The Office Mom

Karen doesn’t care about hockey. Her kid plays and her husband is a big Chicago Blackhawks fan, but Karen is indifferent.

“I’m cheering for the Blackhawks, I guess!”

Wrong, Karen! Not this year. The Blackhawks are out. Maybe you should spend a bit more time taking an interest in your kid’s favorite sport!

Don’t actually say this, though. Karen is a very nice lady. The nice thing about Karen is that she is a team player. She’ll get excited with you when everyone else in your office is shooting you dirty looks about all the Bruins gear you hung up in your cubicle.

Karen cares about you more than she cares about hockey and for that reason, she is great to be around during the playoff season.

Karen will celebrate with you when the rest of the office avoids your excessive gloating. Karen will also be your shoulder to cry on when your team is eliminated. Every office needs a Karen.
