24. . F. Kentucky. Kevin Knox. 21. player

At the combine in May, ESPN should air the measurement of Knox’s wingspan in primetime. The NFL draft combine is a week-long mega event, and Spring Training dominates two states for two months each year. Why can’t measuring amateur basketball players’ arms become engrossing, serialized television?

Not only is the final number going to be among the highest in the league — think Brandon Ingram or Robert Covington — but it could seriously play a role in how the draft breaks down a month later. If some team is captivated by Knox’s endless length, maybe they take him closer to the range he was projected for most of the season (the late lottery) instead of late-bloomers such as Zhaire Smith or Knox’s teammate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. And from there, the rest of the wing class goes a little haywire if Knox leapfrogs them all.

However, if Knox were to fall all the way here to Chicago, he would end up with a team that needs him desperately. The Bulls limped through the season with no real wings outside Denzel Valentine, and upgrading that rotation will be a priority this summer.
