66. . C. Texas A&M. Robert Williams III. 15. player

This is operating under the assumption that Phoenix ends up taking the important man in the big picture up top with the first overall pick.

The great thing for the Suns and Hawks, who each own multiple picks throughout the first round, is that there are little waves of ball-handlers and bigs throughout the draft. If Phoenix selects Luke Doncic at No. 1, the ripple effect isn’t as massive as one would imagine. Instead, they can then sit tight until 15, where they can take Williams, Jontay Porter or Mitchell Robinson if they do indeed keep the pick.

Another option, if they choose to address the big man problem elsewhere, is for the Suns to trade this pick. That could mean trading up into the lottery to take another rookie or as a package for a star. Before we even consider the agony of playoff defeat, it looks like Kemba Walker and Kawhi Leonard are at least being talked about as potentially available.

With how valuable first-round picks have become the past few years, is there a chance the 15th pick and a couple young players like Marquese Chriss and T.J. Warren is enough to get the Walker deal done with Charlotte?
