4. West Brom get closer to drop with loss at Old Trafford

West Brom were last promoted to the Premier League 10 years ago, when they won the 2007-08 Championship season. Unfortunately for Baggies fans, it looks like they could be going back there next season as teams pull even further away from them in 20th spot.

It doesn’t get any easier for the Baggies this weekend as they face a difficult trip to Old Trafford. Manchester United will also be on a huge high after their amazing match with Manchester City last weekend.

Jose Mourinho knows how to spoil a party better than anyone and this weekend his side are going to create more misery as they demolish West Brom.

It feels like the team from the Black Country have almost accepted their fate as to stay up it would take a remarkable run of form as well as several results going their way each weekend.

The Baggies wouldn’t be expecting to take points from this kind of match but right now they desperately need them. United and Mourinho will want to finish the season strong, though, so West Brom fans should expect no sympathy.

A loss at Old Trafford would all but relegate West Brom and if they do lose, the next round of Premier League fixtures could confirm the end of their 10-year stay in the top flight.
