The NBA season is over and all of our questions have been answered. Or not.

It’s been a rollercoaster season in the NBA. An immediate season-ending injury to Gordon Hayward put a cloud over the season before the first half of the first game. Key injuries to the likes of DeMarcus Cousins, Mike Conley, Patrick Beverley, Kyrie Irving, Kristaps Porzingis, Andre Roberson, and Kawhi Leonard soiled what could have been special seasons for their respective teams.

It wasn’t all bad in the NBA. The rise of the Houston Rockets, the sustained brilliance of the Toronto Raptors, and a Process becoming fulfilled, LeBron James being LeBron James, and the wild West helped divert our attention from major injuries.

The season was long, especially if you are a fan of any team in the West not named the Rockets or Warriors. It was most certainly cruel. But in the end, it helped set the stage for an intriguing playoffs. The Warriors may not be unstoppable. LeBron may have competition in the East. Or, you know, probably not.

Prior to the season, I asked 30 pressing questions that would define the NBA season. I did my best to answer those questions, but I can’t see into the future. The good news is that I can reflect back on the past. I’m calling myself out over these next 30 slides because dumb things were said and I must own up to those things.

I’m not afraid of you, OldTakesExposed.
