Avalanche vs. Predators live stream, Game 3: TV schedule, online and more

Game 3 between the Colorado Avalanche and Nashville Predators kicks off on Monday night. The Avs will try to get back into this series after falling behind 2-0. Check further for TV listings, times and where to stream the game.
The Predators have so far controlled this first-round series against Colorado, as many expected. The Avalanche came out with a clear purpose in Game 1, which was to hit them with speed and confidence and to pace their opponent with a “no fear” mentality. It worked, for about two periods. But we’re starting to see what made Smashville the best team in the NHL.
The Predators don’t display any fear, either. They’ve been here before. And their experience and ability to capitalize on mistakes is the clear difference right now between a 2-0 lead and what could possibly be a tie matchup. On Monday, Nashville is going to get set to apply a death grip around the Avs, unless Colorado can find a way to climb back in it at home.

For the Avalanche, those mistakes have been coming far too often. While Game 1 could be chalked up to plenty of effort that simply ended in a loss to a more talented club, Game 2 was sloppy all around.
Odd man chances, breakaways, miscommunication between players; the Avs have to clean these up before they find themselves swept under the door. It can’t be all Nathan MacKinnon, who has a fairly quiet three points in two games. They also need a much better effort from goaltender Jonathan Bernier. In a game where your team puts up four on Pekka Rinne, you have to find a way to make key saves to keep your team in it.
We mentioned in previous articles the road woes for the Avalanche, so expect to see a more crisp game on Monday night as they come home for the next two.
Players to watch:
Colorado: Mikko Rantanen
A first round pick back in 2015, Rantanen put up 84 points in 81 games in the regular season. His star is beginning to shine for this Avs club, and it will only continue to trend upward. Yet, in the first two games of this series, he has one point, an assist, and he’s a minus two. Despite the fact that the Avalanche have scored six on Rinne and company, Rantanen has been a ghost. If they don’t find some semblance of defense soon, guys like Rantanen and Gabriel Landeskog (two points and minus three) are going to have to show up to turn this into a complete shootout.
Nashville: Filip Forsberg
We made the mistake of not having Forsberg as a guy to watch for the Preds in Game 1. He made us pay. He didn’t have to be a hero in Game 2, but we’re not taking any chances. Look for him to be a factor in this one if Nashville is to take a commanding lead in this first round contest.
