This Blazers-inspired version of Guess Who is one of the coolest and most creative things you’ll see on the Internet today.

Few things bring the family together better than a classic game night with board games like Monopoly, Uno, Sorry and Guess Who. The only way to make these games better? NBA inspired versions.

Alan Cassinelli did just that when he collaborated with illustrator Michael Walchalk to create a Portland Trail Blazers version of Guess Who.

Guess Who, of course, is the class board game where you and your opponent take turns asking yes or no questions about the card your opponent has drawn until someone guess the character right.

With this Blazers version, you can ask very specific, Blazers-related questions to have a great time and get a feel for your knowledge of the team. From Cassinelli’s blog post about the game:

"The questions are endless as your Blazers’ knowledge. They can be ones that highlight the positives of the players:Does your player have their number retired?Did they ever play in an All-Star game?or some of their low lights:"

We’ll let you head over to the blog post to read about some of the lowlight questions you can ask about former Portland players, but if you’re familiar with the Jail Blazer and Greg Oden eras, you probably have a great idea of where Cassinelli is going with this.

The illustrations for the game are phenomenal. Walchalk has done some work for ESPN and has some other NBA-inspired work on his website including portraits of Devin Booker, Kobe Bryant and a Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook mashup.

This is an excellent idea from a dedicated fan, and the best part, you can download the illustrations to play the game for free — Guess Who game boards not included.
