Goals from Iago Aspas and Maxi Gomez secured the point at the Camp Nou. Celta Vigo are in slightly disappointing form as of late, winning once in their last five.
Barcelona came back from a devastating loss to Roma in the Champions League to win 2-1 at home against Valencia over the weekend. The win puts Barcelona in a position to win the league with two wins and an Atletico Madrid loss or draw in the next two matches. At this point, however, it’s a matter of when, not if, they will win the league. Considering the heartbreaking loss in the second leg of the quarterfinals, they’ll want to lift the trophy sooner rather than later.
