Josh Hart

While Los Angeles Lakers’ rookies like Kyle Kuzma and Lonzo Ball grab all the headlines, a young player who deserves far more recognition than he already gets is Josh Hart.

Hart, who was the No. 30 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, has averaged just around 7.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game this season over around 23 minutes per game. These are not the best numbers, but when you are behind players like Brandon Ingram, Ball and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in the pecking order, time on the floor is hard to come by.

While not so great news for the Lakers, Hart has received extended minutes thanks to injuries to Ball and Ingram, as well as a few absences by KCP.

In these minutes, he has been nothing short of amazing. The former Villanova star has had multiple double-doubles, and his strong showing should assure him of a place on the team moving forward and definitely assures him of at least a few years in the NBA.

But apart from basketball, Hart excels at Fortnite.

The former NCAA Tournament winner is absolutely obsessed with the game, streaming matches with fans, as well as fellow Lakers’ players like Ball and Kuzma.

Hart is so obsessed with Fortnite that he once spent 10 hours playing before a game with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and an artist created custom Fortnite basketball shoes for him to wear — which he did.

Honestly, if you made Hart choose between basketball and Fortnite, I’m not sure which he would choose.
