It’s one of the biggest games of the opening NBA season. The Boston Celtics are taking on the Cleveland Cavaliers, and Kyrie Irving and the Celtics will take on LeBron James and the Cavs after a messy offseason departure.

But a few minutes in, something happened that would cause viewers to yell out in shock (me included) and change the course of the Celtics’ season.

Star offseason signing Gordon Hayward crashed to the floor hard, breaking his ankle in a very visible, very painful way. You can Google it if you want, but I had to suffer through seeing that injury and the injury to Isaiah Canaan in real time and would never want to force someone to see something like that.

A disappointing end of the season for one of the most highly-anticipated offseason signings in the NBA, the injury forced Hayward to spend his free time doing other things, including Fortnite.

Hayward streams Fortnite constantly, as he is an avid player of the battle royale game and has appeared a few times on Twitch.

Some of his most popular streams are the ones that include his daughter, who is as adorable as Hayward is talented at basketball. There is a particular stream where Hayward is in the middle of a fight and his wife drops his daughter into his lap, nearly causing him to lose.  He then immediately loses, but it is a video you have to see.

Let’s be real. He was never going to win anyway, but the video makes for great streaming content.
