DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – April 18, 2018

High Salary PG
Russell Westbrook ($10,800): Westbrook had 58.25 fantasy points in Game 1. Paul George stole the show with his shooting, but Westbrook was right there with him thanks to a strong rebounding and passing performance. As always, you typically know what you’re getting with Westbrook. He didn’t even play well in Game 1 and still put up over 50 fantasy points. He’s a stat stuffer and always finds a way to post big numbers. If Utah over adjusts on George, that opens things up for Westbrook even more. *****
Donovan Mitchell ($7,800): Mitchell looked just fine in his playoff debut, finishing with 52.5 fantasy points. He is dealing with a foot injury and listed as questionable heading into Game 2. If he’s unable to play, Utah’s offense takes a big hit, but I’ll discuss that later. Assuming he plays, the Thunder seem content with letting him get his while taking away Rudy Gobert and Joe Ingles. ****
High Value PG
Darren Collison ($5,000): Collison was just at value in Game 1 and his salary has lowered to where he needs 22.4 fantasy points to reach value in Game 2. He Cavaliers defense looked in regular season form, which isn’t a good thing if you’re a Cavs fan. Expect another solid performance out of Collison on Wednesday. ***
Derrick Rose ($3,600): Rose’s offensive performance in Game 1 is probably bad for Minnesota, but great for DFS players. Tom Thibodeau has trust in the former MVP, and while he’s a defensive albatross, he can still contribute offensively. The Rockets will let him contribute all he wants offensively. ***
