High Salary PG

Russell Westbrook ($12,100): Westbrook didn’t shoot well in Game 1, but it didn’t prevent him from posting 54.6 fantasy points. If the Jazz decide to focus more on Paul George, that’s going to open up things even more for Westbrook. Numbers are rarely a problem for the reigning MVP. You can count on him to give you at least 50 fantasy points. *****

Ricky Rubio ($7,200): Part of this is due to the status of Donovan Mitchell’s status. If Mitchell doesn’t end up playing, Rubio’s usage rate will go up. He had 40.9 fantasy points in Game 1, although part of that was by design. The Thunder dared him to shoot as much as he wanted to, and he did. Expect him to be smarter in Game 2 and get others involved more. But if Mitchell is out and Paul George neutralizes Joe Ingles again, Rubio will have no choice but to shoot more. ***

High Value PG

Darren Collison ($5,600): Collison was right at value in Game 1. Expect the Cavaliers to try and do a better job on Victor Oladipo, which should lead to more opportunities for Collison. The Cleveland defense didn’t improve overnight and Collison should do enough to at least hit value. ***

Derrick Rose ($3,600): It looks like he’s going to play in this series, so you may as well grab him. He still has offensive capabilities, as he showed in Game 1. And his poor defense isn’t going to show up in the fantasy boxscore. The Rockets will be all too happy letting him get whatever he wants if it means less Karl-Anthony Towns. *
