MINNEAPOLIS, MN – MARCH 28: Karl-Anthony Towns #32 of the Minnesota Timberwolves shoots a free throw against the Atlanta Hawks on March 28, 2018 at Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Karl-Anthony Towns (career-high 56 points) set a new Timberwolves franchise record for points in a game, en route to a 126-114 victory over the Hawks tonight in Minnesota. High Salary C

Karl-Anthony Towns ($10,000): Towns posted 26.4 fantasy points in Game 1. But it’s tough to score when the ball is rarely in your hands. Towns is a big mismatch for Minnesota against Houston and the Minnesota guards simply did a poor job of recognizing those mismatches. Assuming the Timberwolves clean that up, expect Towns to have a big bounce back performance. ****

Clint Capela ($8,200): One guy who always recognizes mismatches is James Harden. And when the center slides over when Harden drives, he sets it up perfectly for Capela. If the Timberwolves can takeaway Harden, they can takeaway Capela. But I have doubts that they can do much of anything against Harden. ****

High Value C

Steven Adams ($6,500): Adams was just under value in Game 1 and his salary has climbed a bit. He and Rudy Gobert almost cancel each other out from a fantasy perspective. But there isn’t a ton of value centers on a nightly basis in the playoffs and, if nothing else, you know Adams is going to play big minutes. He may have a chance to contribute more in Game 2 if the Jazz adjust to send more help at Paul George. ***

Myles Turner ($5,500): Turner was a big contributor in Game 1, finishing with 30.6 fantasy points. But his inconsistency throughout the season doesn’t have me hopeful that he can repeat that performance in Game 2. The upside is there, but I’m going to need to see him perform at this level for more than one game before I buy into him. **
