Timberwolves-Rockets (Rockets Lead 1-0)

On the Houston side, Harden and Capela are your go-to guys. You can confidently stack them if you’d like. I have zero faith that Timberwolves will be able to stop their two-man game as they haven’t been able to do it all season and simply don’t have the defenders to do it now. Houston is unlikely to miss as many open shots as they did in Game 1. Chris Paul will play better and one of the Rockets role players will contribute with a handful of threes. Identifying which one is key. I still like Trevor Ariza due to his playing time next to Harden and Paul.

Minnesota is a team with a lot of question marks. Jimmy Butler doesn’t appear to be 100 percent and has struggled against the Rockets all season. Jeff Teague is a decent bet to at least hit value. Andrew Wiggins is who he is and Taj Gibson’s value doesn’t show up on the fantasy scoresheet. Karl-Anthony Towns is the guy who needs to be better, but it’s up to his teammates and coaches to put him in better positions. Assuming Minnesota makes the proper adjustments, I absolutely love Towns in Game 2.

Then there’s Jamal Crawford and Derrick Rose. They shouldn’t play as much as they do, but they provide offense despite their defensive limitations. And Tom Thibodeau simply loves them.

Like the Cavaliers, getting the right Houston role player could be a big boost to your team.
