The San Jose Sharks gave out a second Duck Hunt rally towel Wednesday night, and now we’re all mad that we don’t have one.

Earlier in the week, the San Jose Sharks gave out a rally towel for their first playoff game against the Anaheim Ducks, taking the NHL playoffs by storm. Whoever came up with the idea deserved a raise because it was such a perfect fit. Everyone loves the original Nintendo version of Duck Hunt. If you say you didn’t, stop lying to yourself. The matchup with the Ducks set up too perfectly and the Sharks took advantage in Game 3.

As beautiful and majestic as this towel was, the Sharks may have outdone even themselves tonight for Game 4 as they go for a sweep of the Ducks.

I mean, these towels couldn’t be any more perfect. The whole goal is to get the crowd involved and ready to make life difficult for the Ducks. Who wouldn’t want to come in and wave this kind of towel? It also helps out that the Sharks have been beating the Ducks fairly soundly in the series. The put up eight (!) goals on Monday night and the towels had to play some part in the lopsided score.

The second batch of towels might be even cooler than the first one. Sure, the first one had the cool eight-bit graphics that everyone loves. The second one actually had the shark with dead ducks in his hand, mimicking the dog that was in the Nintendo game. The pieces just work too perfectly. It’s even got a hashtag on it to make sure it goes viral once again, and really, why wouldn’t it?
