The Green Bay Packers failed to make the playoffs in 2017, but with Aaron Rodgers healthy for 2018, they should be a contender once again.
The Green Bay Packers went into the 2017 season as a Super Bowl contender, but that quickly disappeared once Aaron Rodgers got hurt. Rodgers broke his collarbone in Week 8, and while he tried to come back and save the season, it was too late by the time he returned.
Heading into 2018, Rodgers will be back under center, but he will be without his favorite target in Jordy Nelson. Nelson signed with the Oakland Raiders this offseason, but the Packers did bring in tight end Jimmy Graham to shoulder the loss of production.
The Packers defense struggled in 2017, and they will need to add some serious defensive backfield talent during the 2018 NFL Draft. They should be the front-runner in the NFC North heading into the season, though the division is loaded with talented teams entering the new campaign.
