The Los Angeles Chargers barely missed out on the playoffs last season, and will head into 2018 with expectations to win the AFC West following them.

The Los Angeles Chargers need to win their Week 17 game against the Oakland Raiders, and then get some help to make the playoffs last season. While they won, they did not get the help they needed, and finished the season outside of the playoffs.

That may not seem like much of a story, but the fact is they almost accomplished something that has only been done one other time. Los Angeles started the season at 0-4, but new head coach Anthony Lynn was able to right the ship, and they head into next season with higher expectations.

Philip Rivers is still a solid quarterback, and Melvin Gordon is one of the better running backs in the division. On defense, the sack combination of Melvin Ingram and Joey Bosa is one of the best in the business, so they could be the front-runner in the division heading into 2018.

Here is a full list of their opponents, with the weekly schedule updated as the information is released.

Why the Chargers don’t have more than two primetime games (and none on Sunday and Monday) remains a mystery. This should be a very exciting team to watch.
