New York Giants 2018 schedule release: Games, dates and times
Off a season in which they set a franchise record for losses, the New York Giants are stressing new this offseason. Can the club rebound in a big way?
It seemed like everything that could have gone wrong for the New York Giants this past season indeed did. The club got off to a 0-5 start and would win only three games the entire season. Big Blue’s 13 setbacks set a franchise record. And that’s saying something for an organization that has been around since 1925. Head coach Ben McAdoo, who led the club to the playoffs in 2016 with an 11-5 record, didn’t last the season – likewise general manager Jerry Reese.
So there’s a new regime when it comes to the franchise. Dave Gettleman is back with the club, this time as general manager. And former Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator and one-time Cleveland Browns’ sideline boss Pat Shurmur is the new head coach.
Here is how the complete schedule for the New York Giants, week-by-week, lays out:
Week 1: vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Week 2: at Dallas Cowboys (SNF)
Week 3: at Houston Texans
Week 4: vs. New Orleans Saints
Week 5: at Carolina Panthers
Week 6: vs. Philadelphia Eagles (TNF)
Week 7: at Atlanta Falcons
Week 8: vs. Washington Redskins
Week 9: BYE
Week 10: at San Francisco 49ers (MNF)
Week 11: vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Week 12: at Philadelphia Eagles
Week 13: vs. Chicago Bears
Week 14: at Washington Redskins
Week 15: vs. Tennessee Titans
Week 16: at Indianapolis Colts (TBA)
Week 17: vs. Dallas Cowboys
While most of the offseason to date has centered on the future of wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., Gettleman has made his share of moves. Defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul was dealt to Tampa Bay while the Giants acquired linebacker Alec Ogletree from the Los Angeles Rams.

Come the evening of April 26, the New York Giants could use the second overall pick in any numbers of ways. A quarterback for the future? Some help along the offensive line? Or could Gettleman have dealt the choice by the time you read this?
