Los Angeles Rams: vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Apparently, all the Rams needed was a fresh perspective from the head coach to unlock their potential. They went from 4-12 in Jeff Fisher’s abbreviated final season to 11-5 and a division title last year under Sean McVay, and with some big moves this offseason expectations will be elevated even higher in 2018.

One of the best games of the 2017 regular season came last December when the Eagles visited the Rams in Week 14. But a 43-35 win for the eventual Super Bowl champs, with 762 combined yards of offense, was best-remembered for Carson Wentz’s torn ACL and the door being opened for Nick Foles to become Super Bowl MVP.

The Eagles are now the target for every NFC team this year, and the Rams clearly have aspirations to build big on their 2017 campaign. When the NFC playoff picture ultimately takes shape, Philadelphia’s return to Los Angeles (with or without Wentz back in the lineup) will have a significant say.
