NFL schedule release 2018: Sunday night games

The NFL Schedule has been released. Here’s a look at the Sunday night matchups throughout the entirety of the 2018 season.

There’s no better way to end a Sunday afternoon full of football than with more football. Capping off the day of excitement is NBC’s Sunday Night Football. Al Michael and Cris Collinsworth have combined to bring us countless hours of entertainment from our couches over the years.

Sunday Night Football matchups often dominate the ratings because they feature the week’s best games. Whether it’s a rivalry matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles or a playoff-clinching scenario, the best games are usually saved for Sunday night. Even if your favorite team isn’t playing, chances are you’re tuned in to your television.

As a new season approaches, the expectations are the same.

The NFL schedule has been officially released and here’s a look at the weekly Sunday night matchups throughout the 2018 season:

Week 1: Falcons at Eagles – 8:20 p.m. ET
Week 2: Bears at Packers – 8:20 p.m. ET
Week 3: Giants at Cowboys – 8:20 p.m. ET
Week 4: Patriots at Lions – 8:20 p.m. ET
Week 5: Ravens at Steelers – 8:20 p.m. ET
Week 6: Cowboys at Texans – 8:20 p.m. ET
Week 7: Chiefs at Patriots – 8:20 p.m. ET
Week 8: Rams at 49ers – 8:20 p.m. ET
Week 9: Saints at Vikings – 8:20 p.m. ET
Week 10: Packers at Patriots – 8:20 p.m. ET
Week 11: Cowboys at Eagles – 8:20 p.m. ET
Week 12: Steelers at Jaguars – 8:20 p.m. ET
Week 13: Falcons at Saints – 8:20 p.m. ET (Thanksgiving), Packers at Vikings – 8:20 p.m. ET

Depending on how teams fare as the season progresses, games can be flexed for the most enticing matchup. This usually holds true past the mid-way point once the playoffs begin to take shape.

One thing is for sure this season, you’d be silly to miss out on any Sunday Night Football matchups this season. With the talent around the NFL season, there are going to be many can’t-miss games to tune into.
