The Pittsburgh Steelers have a tough schedule that includes games against the New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons, and New England Patriots.
The Pittsburgh Steelers looked like they could be headed to the Super Bowl last year before losing to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. The never really recovered fully from losing linebacker Ryan Shazier to a life-altering spinal injury but are looking to get over that hump this season.
As they normally are, the Steelers stayed quiet in free agency. They bolstered the defense by signing veterans at linebacker in Jonathan Bostic and safety with Morgan Burnett. The also still have the drama of running back Le’Veon Bell and his contract but enough ink has been spilled on that subject, digitally and otherwise.
The Steelers draw the difficult NFC South and see a familiar foe in the New England Patriots. It’s not the best schedule for a team that had the amount of defensive issues that Pittsburgh had. They had better get things right during the offseason or they’re going to be involved in a ton of shootouts.

Next: 10 unlikely Super Bowl MVPs
Pittsburgh is tied for a league-high, getting five primetime games. The best of the bunch might well be their tilt on Week 11 with the Jacksonville Jaguars, a playoff rematch from a year ago.
