Von Miller, new Avalanche fan, discovers the joy of NHL playoff hockey
Von Miller is the newest member of the Colorado Avalanche family after attending Game 4 of their series against the Nashville Predators. It looks like the Avs have gained a new lifelong fan.
Von Miller, superstar outside linebacker for the Denver Broncos, was in attendance at the Colorado Avalanche game tonight. Miller was rocking an Avs hat and jersey along with his patented thick-framed glasses and handsome smile. Boy did he pick an exciting game to be at.

Miller is in the midst of the NFL offseason with not much on his plate for the next few months besides raising his chickens. It makes perfect sense for Miller to take in the incredible atmosphere that is the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs. And what better series than his home town Avalanche facing off against the Stanley Cup-favorite Predators?
The Super Bowl 50 MVP seemed to be enjoying himself, especially when he got to fire-up the Colorado faithful during Game 3, something he is used to doing from the football field.

Looks like the Avs have gained a fan for life.
Miller is used to seeing big hits, in fact, he is often the one giving them. Hockey hits are different, though. Players are moving faster, hitting harder and wearing steel blades on their feet. No doubt Miller appreciates the speed and power these players possess. (Maybe we’ll see him try on skates one day, if we’re so lucky.)
Von Miller the football player is already a Hall of Fame-worthy generational talent on the field. He’s a leader and a very well-respected player and person, on and off the field. Von Miller the hockey fan is slightly more relatable to those of us who aren’t world-class athletes. He’s just another fun-loving hockey fan and part-time chicken farmer.
Miller the chicken farmer is known for naming chickens after his teammates and friends. After tonight’s game, it will come as no surprise when we learn that his newest chicken is named Nathan MacKinnon.
