The eight team Euro League playoffs head to the second game! The four best of five game series winners will meet in the Final Four. Here with go with the rest of the Game 2’s!
We have a lot less players to choose from with only four teams in action at a time. The value picks are going to be all the more important.
The cash line in the EuroLeague is usually right around 150 DraftKings points. It’s become higher than that in the playoffs. Yesterday 170 didn’t even hit the cash line! We need to aim for about 3.5x value here.

Guards:
Vassilis Spanoulis put up 42.5 DraftKings points in Game 1 against Zalgiris after he put up 26.5 in the regular season finale against the same Zalgiris team. Spanoulis is the most reliable guard option today, and it really isn’t close. Kevin Pangos put up 34.25 in Game 1, which was also better than his total in the regular season finale. If you are going to ride the value forwards, you can use both in your lineups.
Kostas Sloukas isn’t much of a step down considering he put up 34.5 DraftKings points in Game 1 against Baskonia. Did I mention that he is $1,800 cheaper than Pangos?
With Jayson Granger out at least one more game, I like the value with Matt Janning. He topped 20 DraftKings points in Game 1, and should again. Luca Vildoza is also a great value pick. He outplayed Marcelinho Huertas again, so I’m going with Vildoza as my value pick.
Vangelis Mantzaris racked up 20.25 DraftKings points in Game 1 after a disappointing outing against Zalgiris in the last game of the regular season. Considering that Mantzeris had back to back 20+ DraftKings point outings in the two games before that, I trust him as a value pick here as well. Arturas Milaknis went for 22.25 DraftKings points in Game 1, so he is worth a look on the cheap as well.

Forwards:
Tornike Shengelia put in another workmanlike performance in Game 1. It was the fifth straight game of more than 20 DraftKings points for Shengelia, but all of those games were in the 20’s. Shengelia is great for cash games, but he doesn’t seem to have enough upside to take down a GPP. That said, Jan Vesely is $1,200 cheaper and had the same output in Game 1.
Geoergiois Printezis looked solid in his return, putting up his 13th straight round of over 20 DraftKings points. His kind of consistency is worth paying for in cash games, and he has solid enough upside to use in GPP’s as well.
Rodrigue Beaubois came up big in Game 1 with 28.5 DraftKings points. That was the most minutes and most DraftKings points that we have seen from Beaubois since before Christmas. It looks like Baskonia may ride the veteran in the playoffs. If they do, Beaubois is a solid option for the price.
Brandon Davies has 75 DraftKings points in the last two games, both against Olympiacos. This is practically stealing at this price, but you have to have this value in your lineup to have a chance to place. James Nunnally put up another solid performance, but nowhere near what Davies has been doing.
If Papanikolaou is out again, Papapetrou is the alternative for Olympiacos. I might like Edgaras Ulanovas better in this range though.
Stay tuned for our MLB DFS picks for the three major sites, along with DFS plays for the PGA tour and the EPL. Don’t forget about the NBA. We haven’t!
