Jane the Virgin wraps season four tonight, and we’ve got all the details you need to watch Jane the Virgin online for the finale, “Chapter Eighty-One.”
Friday night brings us a new episode of Jane the Virgin that unfortunately will also be the season 4 finale. Although it’s only been 18 episodes so far, Jane the Virgin put out a really good season, which is something that should’ve been hard to do following Michael’s death.
With Petra and JR a couple now, and some fans finally coming around to the idea of Rafael being Jane’s one true love, it’s hard to believe we’ll have to wait several months again to see what happens next.

"In the Season 4 finale, Jane believes she and Rafael are in a good place until she realizes he is keeping a secret from her. Alba’s big day has finally arrived, and Jane, Xo and Rogelio are ready to celebrate but Alba has other plans. Petra and JR make a decision about their future that neither of them saw coming. Meanwhile, River spends the week with Rogelio in order to help them be believable as a married couple, but she soon starts to take her role too seriously."
Obviously, Rafael’s secret pertains to Rose, who is one of my favorite characters and one of the reasons I started watching this show. Though we haven’t seen her a lot lately, Rosario Dawson pretty much made me forget about how much I missed Bridget Regan.
If you think about it, Jane the Virgin snagged some really big names this season, including Eva Longoria, Brooke Shields, Mario Lopez and Rosario Dawson. While there are rumors the show will end soon, if not next season, we can all fully appreciate this trajectory in the meantime.
I mean, let’s all cross our fingers that Tyler Posey puts in a call to Jennifer Lopez for a season 5 cameo.
