Here’s today’s college football spring game schedule that will see Alabama and Georgia among the teams back on the field and here’s how you can watch it all.
It’s a loaded schedule for college football spring games today. There are 14 spring games on the docket for today, including the two teams that played for the National Championship last year as Georgia and Alabama take the first steps toward getting back to that game.
The two SEC teams will be featured as part of a doubleheader on ESPN. If you’re a fan of either team or just have a void in your heart that only college football can fill, make sure you get all your errands taken care of early in the day so you can chill on the couch and watch the games.
A trio of other SEC teams will have their spring games too as Tennessee, Mississippi State and LSU are on the field. This is the first spring game for Jeremy Pruitt and Joe Moorhead as the head coach at Tennessee and Mississippi State, respectively. For Ed Oregeron at LSU, he could be facing a bit of a challenge ahead of him, so it’ll be interesting to see how the Tigers look.
The Big Ten sees Scott Frost holding his first spring game as the head coach at Nebraska. Back at his alma mater after leading UCF to an undefeated season and a win over Auburn in the Peach Bowl, fans are optimistic Frost will be able to restore the Huskers back to the level of success he experienced when he led the team to their last national title in 1997 as the team’s quarterback.
Penn State follows Nebraska on the Big Ten Network as they hope life after Saquon Barkley isn’t too rough. Nittany Lions will be good this year with quarterback Trace McSorley back.
A trio of Big 12 teams hit the field with Baylor, Kansas State and Texas. I’m especially interested in watching Texas to see if Sam Ehlinger or Shane Buechele can establish themselves as the front-runner for the quarterback job.
The Pac-12 will see four teams on the field with Washington, Washington State, UCLA and Oregon. The latter two will see Chip Kelly in his first spring game with the Bruins and Mario Cristobal in his first with the Ducks as head coach.

After this weekend, Oklahoma State is the lone remaining Power 5 team that has to play their spring game. Then it’ll be a few months off until summer camp gets underway and then it’ll be August and camp will be in full bloom with games getting underway at the end of the month.
It’s only four months away.
