Notre Dame spring game 2018: Live stream, TV channel, date
The 2018 Notre Dame football spring game will be played on Saturday, April 21 in South Bend, and here’s all the info you need to watch.
Brian Kelly hasn’t exactly been a golden child for the gold-domers since taking over as the head coach of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football program. At times, his job has come into question and he’s seemed as good as gone. Then there have been times like this past season when he had the Irish in the mix for the College Football Playoff and looking like they’re back in the national picture. Of course, this being the case means nothing now as they head into the 2018 spring game.
It means nothing because the Notre Dame team from last year will look very different from the guys taking the field for the spring game. This group lost stud players like Quenton Nelson, Mike McGlinchey, Josh Adams and Equanimeous St. Brown, meaning they have big holes to fill this offseason.
That’s a big part of what the spring game is all about though. You get to see these players in action and see what they can do in live environments. As such, the picture of who is going to be able to step up in the upcoming season starts to become clearer. That’s what Kelly will be looking for — as will fans — in the Notre Dame spring game.

After a season where they showed real signs of being back as a program, these guys have a lot to prove in the 2018 season. More importantly, to prove just that, the Fighting Irish have some major holes to fill. We’ll see how far along they are in that process on Saturday when the spring game commences.
