The 2018 UCF Knights spring game will be played on Saturday, April 21 in Orlando, and here’s all the info that you need to watch.

While crowning themselves national champions might be a bit much, it’s hard to sleep on what the UCF Knights football team was able to do last season. They were undefeated throughout the season and then went into a New Year’s Six bowl and topped the Auburn Tigers in a thriller. Now they look to continue that success despite new changes heading into their 2018 spring game.

The biggest change for the Knights as they head into a new season is that the coaching staff that led them to their tremendous heights is now gone. Scott Frost has taken off to greener pastures and now leaves UCF under new tutelage. Having said that, the talent that he was able to recruit and the culture that he was able to establish in Orlando remains.

Perhaps the most talented player that Frost leaves behind is quarterback McKenzie Milton. Though undersized to a degree, he’s an early 2018 Heisman Trophy candidate. His ability to both run and throw the football with great effectiveness make him one of the most dangerous weapons in college football. If he can live up to the hype, UCF will be just fine with Frost leaving.

Obviously there are going to be tremendous amounts of change coming to UCF this season. With Frost out of the picture and big-time players like Shaquem Griffin now gone, this team could go in a new direction. However, they have talent and a system in place that could set them up for sustained success moving forward.
