Dan Conner

Dan Conner is like Al Bundy with a little bit of motivation. He likes his sports, beer, and food, but he also works hard and is a caring parent. It’s possible that they are the same person. You know how there’s the father who abandons his wife and kid when the child is first born? Then 20 years later, the child goes searching for his biological father. He meets up with his biological father and discovers that he now has a new wife and two kids who he’s always there for? You know that story.

If you told me that’s the story of Dan Conner and Al Bundy, I’d believe you.

Conner has been through a lot during his time. First off, he’s married to Roseanne. I wouldn’t wish that on any man. But he had a choice and that’s who he chose. Idiot. More importantly, he survived death. He went into a 20 year coma stemming from the heart attack, but the man is still alive. This man survived nearly 50 years of being with Roseanne and a 20 year heart attack induced coma. Managing baseball players will be like sitting on the couch and drinking a tallboy for Conner.

Best Fit: Arizona Diamondbacks

You might noticing a theme. It’s getting these characters out of the place they currently reside. There’s nothing good in Chicago for Conner. He needs to get away from Roseanne and deep dish pizza before he has another heart attack.

Arizona is a nice change for the cold and harsh wind that he’s used to. The warm sun will allow him to work up a sweat and could lead to weight loss. Would he be a good manager for the Diamondbacks? Who cares, we’ve saved the man from living in Chicago with Roseanne for the foreseeable future. You’re welcome, Dan.
