High Value PF

Derrick Favors ($6,000): Favors wasn’t quite as effective in Game 3, finishing with 23.75 fantasy points. And his salary has jumped to where he needs 27.4 fantasy points to reach value. That seems like a tough task given his role on the team in this series. He’ll put up solid number, but probably not enough to give you value. **

Carmelo Anthony ($5,600): Anthony was slightly under value in Game 3, finishing with 26 fantasy points. That number puts him over value in Game 4. He’s going to get minutes and shots, but it’s his rebounding that typically takes him over the top. It wasn’t quite there in Game 3. Still, the minutes and salary are good enough to where he should at least hit value. ***

Trevor Ariza ($4,300): Not a whole lot to like behind Carmelo Anthony. Just guys who don’t make a playoff impact on a night-to-night basis. Ariza gets minutes and opportunities and did have a solid Game 2. He’s definitely a role player that can make an impact, but he’s not the most trustworthy option on Monday. *
