The 2018 MLB season is underway, and while it may be early in the season, it is never too early to take a look at some moves each team should make.
We are less than a month into the new season, but it is never too early to look at the MLB landscape and envision some moves each team should make. For some, the season already looks lost, while others are starting to separate themselves from the pack.
As we look at the 30 MLB teams, and one move each should make, some will be parting ways with players, while others will be adding them. The MLB season is always a surprise, but it is always fun to over-analyze this early in the year.
Here is one deal each team should make right now.

Arizona Diamondbacks: Trade for Chris Archer
The Arizona Diamondbacks are one of the best teams in the National League, if not the entire MLB, and they should be in contention to make a serious run this season. Already out to a blazing start in the NL West, they have the bats to lead them, and their pitching staff is pretty solid at the top.
Unfortunately, one of their key arms will be heading to Tommy John Surgery, as Taijuan Walker has a partially torn UCL. That means there is a hole in this rotation, and you cannot afford to not be deep in starting pitching during a pennant chase.
Enter Chris Archer, who is the best pitcher on one of the worst teams in baseball. The Tampa Bay Rays are notorious for getting rid of their good players for prospects, as they literally hate to pay for good talent.
He would slide right into the rotation in Arizona, joining the likes of Zack Greinke, Robbie Ray, Zack Godley, and Patrick Corbin. Archer is signed through 2019, but he is really struggling to start the year, and needs a fresh start.
Arizona is in it for the long haul, and Archer would make a lot of sense with Walker out for the year.
