Boston Red Sox: Trade for Tyson Ross
The Boston Red Sox are the best team in baseball to start 2018, and they could be in for a very long season. Boston currently is playing baseball at a historic clip, and started the season with a 17-2 record through 19 games.
Chris Sale is a beast as a starting pitcher, and the Killer B’s in the outfield have been terrific. One area the team could use an upgrade is in the starting rotation, where they may want to go out and get a player like Tyson Ross from San Diego.
Ross is off to a solid start this season, but the Padres are headed nowhere fast. He would join a rotation that is pretty top heavy, and give the Red Sox another arm they can rely on during the stretch run.
Most of the talk this offseason regarding the AL East has focused around the New York Yankees, who brought in Giancarlo Stanton to team with Aaron Judge. However, it has been the Red Sox who have been the class of the division, and they do not look to be going anywhere soon.
Boston has the lineup to score runs, and they still have guys who need come come off the disabled list. Ross is a solid pitcher, and would solidify this rotation.
