The Miami Dolphins have been changing their look this offseason, getting rid of some big name, and high priced talent. First, they traded away star wide receiver Jarvis Landry to Cleveland, where he inked a huge deal with the Browns. Then, they cut star defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, who had no shortage of suitors once he hit the open market.

Heading into the 2018 NFL Draft, the Dolphins have to make up for the lost talent on defense. While defensive tackle is definitely a need now, they have a serious hole at the linebacker position as well. The best middle linebacker in this draft class is Roquan Smith, whom the Dolphins need to grab quickly if he is still available at No. 11 overall this Thursday.

Smith showed incredible skills during his last season at Georgia, leading the team to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. He has the ability to play sideline-to-sideline, and his football IQ is off the charts. He is a guy who can come in and lead a defense as a rookie, and the Dolphins need that kind of leadership in this locker room as they try to change the culture.
