Wednesday’s episode is called “Third Year” as it kicks off the third chapter at Angels Memorial Hospital, and a lot of things have changed. Dr. Leanne Rorish (Marcia Gay Harden) is trying to formally adopt Ariel (Emily Alyn Lind) after Ariel’s reappearance at the end of last season, while her colleague, Dr. Ethan Willis (Rob Lowe), leaves the hospital to jump onto an ambulance.
There are also some cast changes. Moon Bloodgood (Falling Skies) joins the cast as a new series regular, while Melanie Chandra does not return as Dr. Malaya Pineda.
