Wizards-Raptors (Series Tied 2-2)

Once again, John Wall is the guy you can build around. He controls every facet of the Wizards offense right now and has delivered in every game during this series. He’s been the best player on the court and that won’t change on Wednesday.

Bradley Beal is the risk. Personally, I believe he’ll carry over his form that put him over 40 fantasy points in the two games in Washington. But his struggles in the first two games of the series are concerning. If he’s still on point with his shot, he’ll have no trouble going over value. But I can’t say I blame you if you believe he’ll struggle with the series being back in Toronto.

Elsewhere on the Wizards, Otto Porter Jr. is a solid bet to hit value at his salary. He hasn’t been spectacular, but he’s been consistent. Markieff Morris played more minutes than Mike Scott in Game 4, but still missed value. Who knows if Scott will get the minutes in Game 5 or if they’ll continue with Morris. Neither guy is all that attractive.

Kelly Oubre Jr. has been consistent in this series and makes for a nice low cost option if you want to grab multiple high salary guys. Marcin Gortat was at value in both Washington games, but there’s not much upside.

For Toronto, look for them to get back on track at home. DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry have delivered in this series, which is a good sign heading into Game 5. Lowry has plenty of upside at a reason price at point guard. DeRozan has been good at home all season.

I expect a bounce back game from Serge Ibaka and he’s proven to be a value player in both Toronto games. On the “role players are better at home” theory, OG Anunoby and C.J. Miles should find more comfort if you want cheap options. Jonas Valanciunas is a risk at his salary, but is a proven contributor despite limited minutes.

Delon Wright and Fred VanVleet is where it gets tricky. The backup point guard has been a huge bright spot for Toronto this season. Wright has been good this series, but if VanVleet plays, he may get more playing time. Of course, there’s a chance he re-aggravates something, like Game 2, and is limited. Your best hope is for VanVleet to be ruled out. Otherwise, you’re taking a risk on either guy.
