FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – April 25, 2018
High Salary PF
Kevin Love ($7,700): Love has missed value in his last three games and his salary remains unchanged. He’s been under 20 points in all four games and unless he’s grabbing 13-plus rebounds, it’s almost impossible for him to make up that value. The opportunities are there, but he’s a risk. **
High Value PF
Thaddeus Young ($6,600): Young has been excellent in the last two games, going 10-plus fantasy points over value in both contests. His salary has jumped to where he needs 28.4 fantasy points to reach value. He won’t grab 16 rebounds again, but he’ll contribute in that department along with scoring and defense. It’s a rich salary, but there aren’t too many great option at power forward. ***
Serge Ibaka ($6,100): Ibaka wasn’t good in Washington, but should have an easier go of things back in Toronto. He was over 30 fantasy points in both games in Toronto. He’ll re-find his shooting form while contributing with rebounds and defense. Look for a bounce back performance from Ibaka. ***
Carmelo Anthony ($5,600): If you have the money, Derrick Favors is the better option with the higher ceiling. But the extra $400 makes Anthony easier to fit into your lineup. He can’t shoot anymore, but still gets shots and playing time, which is something. Thanks to his rebounding, he’s at least good enough to hit value. ***
