Is Avengers: Infinity War in IMAX? Marvel fans headed out to the latest Avengers movie this weekend may be asking if the film is being offered in the upscale IMAX format, and if so, how to get Avengers: Infinity War IMAX tickets.

The answer to the first question is a resounding yes. Breathe a sigh of relief, moviegoers, because there will be Infinity War IMAX showtimes. Frankly, it wouldn’t make sense if the film wasn’t in the bigger format, considering that this is a movie in which our superheroes are battling a massive god-like enemy and the movie is reportedly equally massive.

Any film that has the word “Infinity” in its title, unless it’s a Buzz Lightyear spin-off movie that no one told us about, pretty much deserves the IMAX treatment.

Which brings us to the other — and seemingly much more difficult — question: How do you get Avengers: Infinity War IMAX tickets? They may be hard to come by, considering that many movie theater chains and websites have been pre-selling tickets to this film for months now. But there are a few options for you to get tickets online.

You can go directly to the brand’s website, which will show you available theaters and times in your area. You can also try checking a third-party seller like Fandango. But be aware, not every theater will have this option, and even those that do may either be sold out or have limited showtimes. Some theaters have as few as two IMAX showings.

So if this is your preferred way to see the new Avengers movie, make sure you can get your tickets — and then don’t wait to buy them before Friday’s opening day!
