Want to watch the NFL Draft but don’t have cable? We’ve got you covered with viewing options for PS4, Xbox One and Apple TV.
It’s a growing trend that we’ve seen in the past few years now. More and more people are cutting the cord only to get locked out of live sporting events. In truth, live sports are the biggest reason for keeping cable around, but for a big event like the NFL Draft, they’re not going to keep millennials in the dark.
The first round of the NFL Draft is going to be simulcast on as many as five channels, including NFL Network, Fox and ESPN. While they all have their streaming properties, they tend to require a cable log-in. That’s where cord-cutting services come in. Owners of PS4, Xbox One and Apple TV will all have their own ways of watching the draft so that you don’t have to look for a spare HDMI cord for your laptop.
For PS4, the best way to watch the draft is on Playstation Vue, their own live streaming platform. The Core package, which offers live sports channels including NFL Network, is crazy expensive — $44.99 a month, to be exact. But they offer a five-day free trial, meaning you can sign up for it just in time for the draft then cancel it right away.
On Xbox One, there are a ton of streaming services they offer that will broadcast the NFL Draft. You can pick and choose between Sling TV, Hulu and YouTube TV. Whichever one runs smoothest and is within your price range will be your option, although chances are you’ve already done the homework on those three.
And for Apple TV, the best choice is to go with Fubo TV. The first-month price of $19.99 is its greatest attribute, and it comes with NFL Network. It’s compatible with any streaming device, including Apple TV, Roku and Chromecast.

If you’re a cord-cutter, chances are you already have any one of these services. As such, you should have no shortage of options when it comes to viewing the draft.
