Bob Devaney and Tom Osborne are royalty in Nebraska for a reason. The two helped create some of the greatest dynasties that college football has ever seen. Devaney brought home back-to-back championships at the beginning of the 70s, while Osborne won three in the 90s.

Besides winning and accepting nothing less, the Cornhuskers have some great traditions that surround their program as well. Fans release a balloon in the air at all home games when Nebraska scores their first touchdown.

Plenty of touchdowns have been scored by some of the great players over the years. Johnny Rodgers, Mike Rozier, Tommy Frazier and current head coach, Scott Frost all played a major role in their success.

The Cornhuskers held a stronghold over the Big 12 conference for quite some time. Now in the Big Ten, Nebraska is working on finding their way back to prominence in the West Division.

After an undefeated season with UCF, Frost has returned home with high expectations to deliver with the team he once brought a national championship to as a player. Traditions and pride line this program from wall to wall in every tunnel.
