The team just to the south of Michigan, Ohio State has one of the best fan bases in sports. In fact, the Buckeyes’ fans were ranked first on the 2017 Fandom 250, for their tireless dedication to their team.

From Woody Hayes all the way down to Urban Meyer, success has constantly found the Buckeyes and those that have led the program. Seven players have brought the Heisman trophy back to Columbus.

Several players have helped bring back eight total national championships to the program. The fans also fill out Ohio Stadium every week in one of the largest venues and environments in college football.

Their mascot is also one of the most recognizable as well. Brutus Buckeye has one of the most distinct looks in sports. And of course, the Ohio State Marching Band is the most famous in all of college athletics.

Legends like Archie Griffin, Eddie George, Ezekiel Elliott, Orlando Pace and others have helped the Buckeyes become the program that they are today. Famous moments include the national championship win in the Fiesta Bowl over Miami and winning the very first College Football Playoff.
