NHL playoffs 2018: Golden Knights vs. Sharks TV schedule
By Adam Stocker
The Vegas Golden Knights face the San Jose Sharks in the second round of the NHL playoffs. Here’s the schedule and how you can watch and stream every game.
The Vegas Golden Knights and San Jose Sharks both advanced to the second round of the playoffs in four games. The Golden Knights swept the Los Angeles Kings and the Sharks swept the Anaheim Ducks. Both starting goalies, Marc-Andre Fleury and Martin Jones were incredible in the first round. Fleury posted a .977 save percentage and shutout the Kings twice. Jones recorded a .970 save percentage and one shutout. Whichever goalie continues to be hotter will likely see their team advance to the conference final.
While the Golden Knights did sweep the Kings, they only scored seven goals. For comparison, the Sharks scored eight goals in Game 3 against Anaheim, and 16 times in the series. Throughout the regular season, Vegas relied on scoring depth spread all four lines. William Karlsson led the team with 43 goals and will have to continue scoring for Vegas to win.
The Sharks could be getting reinforcements as the series goes on. Joe Thornton has been out with a knee injury but is nearing a return. The return of Thornton would take some of the pressure off of Logan Couture and Joe Pavelski. Couture and Pavelski both recorded five points against Anaheim.
