 3. The Buffalo Bills trade up and take the wrong Josh

The Buffalo Bills weren’t content to wait and see which quarterback fell to them at No. 12 overall, and with AJ McCarron and Nathan Peterman currently in their quarterback room, who could blame them? Once the Bills traded up — giving up, by the way, both of their second-round picks (No. 53 and No. 56 overall — however, we were shocked to see that it wasn’t Josh Rosen they were after, but Josh Allen.

Allen was in the headlines for the wrong reasons when old tweets surfaced that painted the quarterback in an incredibly unflattering light, and questions were raised about whether the incident would cause him to fall in the draft. It turned out not to be the case. Allen definitely has some upside; he has indisputably the biggest arm in this class. But he also carries some accuracy issues, and didn’t face the toughest competition in the Mountain West conference. Over his career at Wyoming, Allen went 361-of-643 for 5,051 yards and 44 touchdowns, throwing 21 interceptions.
