Sample lineup number one

P – Johnny Cueto

C/1B – Buster Posey

2B – Asdrubal Cabrera

3B – Christian Villanueva

SS – Paul DeJong

OF – Jose Pirela, Trayce Thompson, Corey Dickerson

Utility – Josh Reddick

Cueto is going to be my pitcher of choice for most games and I feel like many will feel the same way. Pitching is just kind of mediocre on this slate so Cueto tends to stand out. Posey is far too cheap, Cabrera is a nice play despite Lucchesi being good so far and I love Villanueva tonight. From there, we’ll take DeJong, snap up a couple value plays in the outfield and then finish it off with two nice mid-range plays to round everything out. This lineup looks like it has plenty of safety to roll into cash games.

Sample lineup number two

P – Jack Flaherty

C/1B – Chris Iannetta

2B – Asdrubal Cabrera

3B – Christian Villanueva

SS – Manny Machado

OF – Andrew McCutchen, Trayce Thompson, Tommy Pham

Utility – Paul DeJong

Going with Flaherty sure opens up some money and pairing him with two punts let’s you play every bat you could realistically want. This is a GPP lineup only because this is reliant on the bats more than normal. Putting a lineup with Machado, McCutchen, Pham and DeJong is awfully fun to look at though.

Stacks to Consider – Astros(vs Oakland), Padres(vs New York Mets) and Cardinals(at Pittsburgh)
