Newcastle can officially send West Brom to the Championship next season with a win on Saturday at St. James’ Park. With a loss or tie, West Brom will be officially relegated, ending an ugly season for the Baggies.

Around Christmas time, Newcastle were in the relegation zone. However, the Magpies season took off in 2018. Newcastle have stormed up the table, sitting 10th with four games remaining. Rafa Benitez’s side have won four of their last five games. Kenedy has had a strong half-season for the Magpies since joining the club on loan from Chelsea. Newcastle would like to sign Kenedy in the summer to a permanent deal. Ayoze Perez has caught fire lately. The Spanish striker has scored in three of the previous four games for Newcastle.

West Brom surprisingly came back and drew with Liverpool last weekend. Since Darren Moore took over as manager, the Baggies have not lost. Over their last three games, West Brom have picked up five points to give them 25 points on the season. The Baggies have struggled to score this season. Only two clubs have scored fewer goals than West Brom. However, Jay Rodriguez and Jose Salomon Rondon have caught fire lately. The two strikers have combined for six goals in their last six games.
