With four games remaining in the Serie A season, AC Milan are a battling for a Europa League spot. Milan are seventh in the table, one point behind Atalanta. On Sunday, 12th place Bologna host Milan at Renato Dall’Ara Stadium.

Bologna are 12th in Serie A but have struggled since the beginning of March. Roberto Donadoni’s side have only six points over their last eight games. However, the club is likely safe from relegation. The Greyhounds are 10 points ahead of Spal for the final relegation spot. Bologna bought Simone Verdi from AC Milan in July 2016 for €1.5 million. Verdi has made that fee look like a bargain. The Italian winger has had an excellent season, scoring eight goals and eight assists, driving the Bologna attack.

For the second time this season, Milan dropped points to Benevento. The last place team defeated Milan 1-0. Milan have struggled over their last five games, failing to win any and picking up three points. While Milan have been one of the better defensive sides in Serie A, they have struggled to score goals this season. Andre Silva has been one of the biggest transfer busts this season. Milan bought Silva from Porto for €38 million. Despite the large fee, Silva has found the back of the net only two times during the Serie A season.
