It looks like both Los Angeles teams are going to be in the mix for the playoffs next season, as the Rams are the favorite to come out of the NFC West. The Rams shocked the world by being the best team in their division last season, as quarterback Jared Goff took a major step forward in his development. They have the right quarterback, and head coach in place, and they should spend this late round first pick on a weapon for Goff.

During the 2018 NFL Draft, the Rams traded away Tavon Austin, but they still have guys like Brandin Cooks, Connor Kupp, and Robert Woods. Adding a prospect like Deebo Samuel from South Carolina would give the Rams another burner, as they continue to try to help Goff reach his potential. They have an elite running back in Todd Gurley II, so more talent on the outside can only help everybody.

The NFC West is going to be a great race this season, as the San Francisco 49ers got better this offseason, and David Johnson will return in Arizona. Seattle may take a step back, but the Rams have a chance to take a serious hold as the top team in this division. If Goff continues to grow, the Rams could be raising a banner before his career is said and done.
